Would you like to follow a diploma in adult care?
This CACHE course is suitable for persons who would like to work with adults including elderly persons, and aims to train and produce personnel with all the necessary knowledge and skills to work in this field. The Diploma will be issued by CACHE (CACHE is the UK’s only specialist awarding organisation for the children and adult care sectors and its qualifications are recognised internationally.

Opportunities in this sector have increased rapidly and are predicted to continue growing. Future Focus prepares students to work in elderly homes and day centres. Participants participate in a diverse programme that includes theory, hands-on-learning, small group work, observation and field based practical experience. Through our programme you will be prepared for employment. We already have a number of employers asking us for students! We help you develop the technical skills and competencies that are required for employment in this field.
Certification
CACHE (The Council for Awards in Children’s Care and Education) is the UK’s only specialist awarding organisation for the children and adult care sectors, with a portfolio of qualifications ranging from Entry to Level 6. Last year, over 150,000 learners registered with CACHE from over 1000 UK based Centres and overseas. The CACHE courses are recognized internationally including in Malta. Recognition statements can be obtained from the MQIRC. CACHE was established in 1994 as a result of the merger of the National Nursery Examination Board (NNEB) and the Council for Early Years Awards (CEYA) and has a heritage dating back to 1945. Since then, its qualifications have established a reputation for excellence and have supported many thousands of learners through to further study or employment within the Children and Young People’s Workforce. Now, CACHE continues to develop the most up to date and relevant qualifications for the new QCF and works closely with Sector Skills Councils to ensure the highest level of quality and a cutting-edge service to its customers, its learners, and the sector.
Applicants with no practical experience in elderly care will be expected to carry out 300 hours of practical experience in a suitable setting. During this period skills acquired will be validated. Special arrangements can be made for persons who are presently in full time employment in a different sector.
The course will be delivered by a number of different tutors who are all experts in their respective fields.
Students are expected to complete 58 credits

You must have a good working knowledge in English to attend the course but potential employers may ask for further qualifications from potential applicants.

Entry Requirements
There are no entry requirements for this course but students are expected to have a good working knowledge of English.
Fee:
Euro 800 inclusive of VAT, study material, assessment, examinations, tuition and certification.
Bookings can be made by filling in the application form and sending a deposit of Euro 400 which will be deducted from the course fee. Students can opt to pay by instalments. In such a case an agreement is to be signed with Future Focus on application.
