With the increase in mental health cases the need for trained personnel is on the rise. Future Focus has teamed up with CACHE to offer this new course in Mental health care.
The course comprises five units as follows:
Understanding the context of mental health and well being
Promotion of mental health and wellbeing
Mental health problems : associated issues and consequences
Understanding mental ill health
Working in mental health
This course is held once a week and lessons are from 18.00 hrs to 20.00 hrs
The course is recognized at MQF level 4 by MFHEA
The fee is Euro 980 of which a non-refundable deposit of Euro 400 is payable and the balance can be paid in instalments. A charge of € 59(inclusive of VAT) will apply if you opt to pay in installments.
Entry Requirements
There are no entry requirements for this course but students are expected to have a good working knowledge of English.
This courses is suitable for those interested in working as mental health workers, counsellors, mental health nurses and other careers in mental health.
