Co-operation agreement signed with design school.

Future Focus, a leading private training organisation has signed a co-operation agreement with the Istituto Superiore di Design. This institute situated in Naples is the first School in the South of Italy offering various Degrees in interior design, industrial design, graphics and fashion design. It also promotes research and inovation in this field.

The ISD mission is to provide the students with the cultural and technical means to progress their passion to a professional level in line with their aspirations and the demands of the workplace. The students have the opportunity to build their own learning path thanks to innovative teaching combined with long experience with the most advanced teaching methods, fruitful co-operations with the institutions, the world of industry, craftsmen and professional associations.

Today, thousands of ex-students of the Institute, hold important roles within fashion and design companies and they have achieved huge successes in the professional and artistic fields in Europe and worldwide.

Ms Galea, managing director of Future Focus who signed the agreement said that ‘this agreement will increase opportunities for Maltese students interested in studying fashion and design in Italy. It is the intention of Future Focus together with ISD to offer master classes in Malta in the subject.’

Future Focus is commited to providing quality training with high value added. It is constantly increasing the areas of operation and this agreement continues to increase the opportunities for students who are interested in such careers. Last year Future Focus organised courses in design in Malta for German, Swedish and Italian students. More courses will be offered in the coming months. ‘The pooling of local expertise coupled with the latest software design technology, language competency of the teachers and good industry networking was the key to the success for the programmes’ said Ms Galea.
